phillip looks really funny at the end of this video don't know why he said that at the end but hey cool.

Granted, all the talent is remarkable. But...Phillip has that pure "its got a hold of me" talent. What he does is not learned it is felt and just moves through his soul and out his body and voice. All the other talents have that learned quality. great voices but learned and trained and the rest born with a gift of carrying a tune. But Phillip, it is in his soul. No lesson, no practice, no teacher, nothing can teach u what he has. I have to say maybe he doesn't have the big lungs, the big notes, the learned techn. bit who cares, he moves the music through his soul into his frame and right out his toes (and voice). He makes u feel the music, not hear it but litterly FEEL. the music. I think a deaf person can even feel his music. But he likely will not win since he has something that no one else can really pin point. I hope this is not true but sometimes the one most like the rest out today wins the popularity votes. Regardless Phillip will have his career no doubt about that. He won't miss a thing.

i just posted elsewhere on this site about my feelings, but Joshua Ledet, in my opinion, will always be the TRUE winner this year! His career will be the one to watch! Jessica is talented, but not nearly as talented as Joshua. Phil Phillips is simply q little quirky and cute. I've watched this show every year and although I think some of the former contestants were/are talented and I like their music, this is the first year where I am honestly looking forward to buying a contestant's cd when it debuts, and that contestant is Joshua Ledet. He has the talent, he has the passion, he has everything! He is the one whose concert I will stand in line to buy a ticket for. His final song should have been something like Al Green's "Let's Stay Together,"  or even "Dock of the Bay" by Otis Reading......even a repeat of Percy Sledge's "When a Man Loves a Woman" could have won the day for him...but Mary J. Blige's "No More Drama?"  He executed it perfectly, but it was so wrong for the moment. Personally, I would have liked to see Joshua take on "All Along the Watchtower," Jimmi Hendrix's verson of the Dylan song. Joshua Ledet could have blown it away and it could have been the number  that would have taken  him from the perception  he is an "old soul throwback to the Motown Era" into the view that he is the man that has the talent to sing and perform any genre at the highest level!   Oh, and Jimmi, "Bridge Over Troubled Water" would have also won it for Josh. Hey, I'm unemployed. Hire me to pick songs for idol contestants and you will not be disappointed. LOL, (I'm laughing, but I'm serious!) LOL

JOSHUA, U ARE THE MAN! U have made this season 11 American Idol the best of all seasons for me. U will always be in my mind and your name will ever be remembered, so also American Idol's name becasue of a boy called JOSHUA. I have never seen a competition being performed with so much zeal, energy, emotion, passion and compassion. All these came alive for me in American Idol because of U. Thank you for being who you are.

I bought all of Hollie's music.  My first girl friend was a singer and all of Hollie's songs remind me of her voice.  I figured it out tonight while I was working out...I was like...why do I like her music so much?  Then I figured it out...it's such a pure, honest tone.  I also love her personality.  It's a great package...and yet, I'm gay, so what's all that about.  I know it was Hollie's turn to go, but in the end, I only bought her music and Jessica's.

Josh as the most talent of the all,,,,  none of the others have the talent ... Jessia is too stuck up..  SKyler and Josh are the best performers  May the Lord keep them covered with angels
