Phillip, Jessica and Joshua, are all really good and should all be blessed....let's be happy for them all and quit comparing....there is enough fans for all....and some of the other top...will for sure have careers as well, I believe lots of talent...in the group.   A

I also believe God has a plan for us all and He know's who can handle what and what they will do with what is handed into their possession, in saying that I believe God has a plan for Joshua and Phillip Phillips. I also believe someone will sign Joshua very soon. I hope they both stay true and don't let the flashing lights and popularity ruin them. Praying for them all.

Phillip is okay, but he can by no means beat Joshua and Jessica. 

Joshua you should have been the next American Idol. I think the whole thing is riged. I will never watch American Idol again. Every year they send the best home and keep the losers. Joshua you are the winner in my eyes and you will be big. We will miss you very much and just know that American Idol has lost a lot of fans now. There ratings will go down now. Can't wait for Josh to come out with his first CD!  I'll be the first in line.  Josh has one of the most incredible voices I've heard in a very long time.  And what a beautiful person he is!

It helps to have a large block to support you...like the Navy. He's going to make it because he's got the talent and the pros know it. So will Skylar & Hollie. The "winner" of Idol may have the bragging rights (and deserve to be up there too)but that doesn't negate the talent and probability of the others succeeding. Look at Hudson and Daltrey!

Someone has to go at this point......and it also shows that this is not completely a talent contest but a popularity contest as well........the fans choose the winner based on who they like and how many times

they vote......!!!!  Not a perfect system for sure.... but it is what it is..!!!

I know Joshua was "hugely" disappointed, but he should realize just what a wonderful voice he has; his future is sealed! I had a difficult time choosing between the 3 people that were left. I voted for Philip and Jessica. The only thing that helped me make this decision was sometimes Joshua screamins too much. That screaming is really great at times, but just don't over do it.

I refuse to watch the Finale....All I can do is hope Jessica will win. While I don't care for her I definetly can't stand Philip or his awful singing. Half the words he struggles to make them complete. Don't undersatnd what anyone sees in him? Now Josh- He should of been in the top 2 and won. America made a huge mistake in the voting. This is the end for me. I will not watch this program anymore or in the future.

American Idol is a singing competition, so may the BEST singer win. Go JESSICA!! we'll be with you & will continue to support you until the end. People who hates you are just jealous with your magnificent voice. God is with you. :-)

@judges made the decisions wrong.... its not joshua..its phillip... but maybe god has a plan for joshua though... dont give up ur dreams joshua....  go jessica! its time to have a girl in american idol!!!

what a shame this was a pure sabatoge no disrepect to the others because they are very good all of them were . but i have to say joshua had a perfect season and i knew this would happen . why in the heck jimmy and randy would give this boy two not one but two women songs to sing and songs like that they need to be ashame . i tried to hang in there with american idol but iam done now. jennifer get out now move on from this disaster. another thing people i think was upset that they kept standing for him but that was not his fault  .omg people are so curel in the world today after all we have to be thankful for we are still so curel  . we all can have a favorite because we like different music and that,s ok but lets support all these kids who are trying to make something of their life that is good .they put these kids through so much and then it depends on who votes get through. the way they conduct this show even tyler saying jessica will be the last one standing jessica who i love but what does that say to the others who are also trying to win this  is not fair trying to sway the public of how to vote. when you do that why would the others left standing even try to win and do their best. hollie was great and they gave her the shaft this girl can sing . i hope for the next season people will be fair to all even if they  are not your favorite you don,t have to vote for them but don,t be curel and call me nsty names because you don,t like their style because it may be years later but you get back what you dish out in all kinds of ways so please think about it because i will not be watching as i said again. good luck josh keep going you will always encounter all kind of people in this life it is how you choose to deal with it . don,t be like them .hollie don,t give up ur great.phillip u seem to be a great guy i really like you .

I can not believe that Joshua did NOT make it!!!!  ;, and  Jessica Sanchez , She is truly an amazing young girl !! She will go very far with her carrier!! . The judges are absolutely correct!! :-)

Hollie is going to be very successful because her voice is a God given talent. Listen to what Jennifer & Randy said: they know what they are talking about. Trust God and ask God who else you should trust.  Be careful but have fun.

Jennifer Lopez is so sweet with Hollie, I love her! They were all so nice and encouraging her. Hollie was my favorite, and it's sad to see her go. She has such a unique voice, she's gonna do great in the future. Good luck to her!! :-)

Holly is a sweetheart.  I hope great things for her future.  Now....although Jessica sings great, I really don't care for her and was hoping she went home tonight.  anyway, you are beatiful Holly and sing wonderfully!  I look forward to seeing you make an album!

Not only can't I believe that they sent Hollie home, I can't believe what Jimmy levine said about Hollie's performance!!!  He criticized her for "hitting the Opera button" on the chorus!!!  What's so bad about Opera?  All singers would benefit from its training & fundamentals!  I'm sick to death of all the encouragement to make singers growl!  Jessica is undoubtedly the best singer in the competition; but if she keeps trying to growl, she will ultimately damage her voice and cause nodules (vocal cord calluses) to form.  Same for everyone else.  Idol should be a singing contest, and it's turning into a popularity contest instead.  THIS IS SICKENING!!! Philip should have been gone weeks ago, DeAndre was the best male vocalist to ever grace the idol stage, and he's GONE!!!  Hollie was sent home when she did better on best of 4 night of anybody on both songs!  Joshua is definitely the best male singer left!  Philip sucks, and gets votes only on sex appeal to young girls---THIS TOO IS SICK!!!  What Idol needs is to re-institute music education in ALL schools, so the kids can really recognize talent!!!  Then the travesties like Hollie and DeAndre leaving would happen soo much!  I hope Jessica can stay true to her training and her soul, AND EASE UP ON THE GROWLING!  She doesn't have to eliminate it, just use sparingly!  Because JESSICA is TRULY the BEST AMERICAN IDOL ever since Carrie Underwood!  She's just a little young and too impressionable!  Good luck Jessica on winning, and Hollie on her future career!
